Half Marathon

The race has evolved from year to year in different countries when it is held.

The race includes a start outside the Kavtatzoglio Stadium, (On STR, AGIOU DIMITRIOU - the route will be perimeter from Triandrias Turn to Evangelistrias Turn) includes a perimeter route of approximately 3,500m which is repeated 6 times.

There are no altitude differences. The route is basically considered flat.
There will be toilets at various points, various water stations will be provided, etc.
Athletes will pass through the Leaning Hall and then gather in front of the Stadium.
There will be an Arch in the Space and it is easy to identify.
The competitive Event will contain CARPETS, and will be conducted with the RFID system (CHIPs embedded in the Number that will be given to the Half Marathon athletes)

Course Information

Registrations for the Half Marathon, as well as for the other events , are now open! The match will be held on Sunday, September 25 in the perimeter area, OUTSIDE THE KAFTAZOGLIO STADIUM of THESSALONIKI.

Support & Amenities

Chip Timing Chip timing is provided for fast and accurate race results.

Awards & Records

All participants in the half marathon receive a short-sleeved T-shirt.

Upon completion, all graduates receive a Commemorative Diploma for their participation.

Medal and Diploma are awarded to the First Three in each Age Category.

The BEST ATHLETE (MEN-WOMEN) of the Half Marathon will be awarded with a special Cup. (The awarding of the BEST and BEST athlete of the Competition will take place on Sunday after the end of the race 25/9/2022 at the Stadium.

All age group prizes must be claimed on race day. Prizes will not be mailed.
